Standard bike frame -
Full suspension bike frame -
Straight and no cracks or broken welds.
Straight, no cracks or broken welds, all linkages, bushes, bearings and mounts in good condition.
Standard front forks -
Front suspension forks -
Straight and no cracks
No oil leakage, movement in bushings
Rear derailleur hanger Straight and correctly mounted
Rear shocks Oil leakage, movement in bushings
Drive chain Sprockets and cassettes for wear and chains for stretch
Gear cables and cable housings In good condition and adjusted accordingly
Front derailleur Straight and correctly adjusted
Rear derailleur Straight, correctly adjusted and all bearings and bushes in good condition including jockey wheels
Brakes – Front and Rear Pads – new or near new and adjusted correctly
Cables and cable housings in good condition
Hydraulic Hoses in good condition
Wheels Hubs – Bearings and rear freewheel in good condition
Spokes – all straight and correct tension
Rim – straight and sidewalls still have good thickness
Tires – Plenty of tread and suitable for the terrain on the tour
Tubes – new or near new, no old puncture repairs
Pedals Bearings in good condition and adjusted correctly
Bottom Bracket Bearings in good condition and adjusted correctly
Headset Bearings in good condition and adjusted correctly
Handlebars Straight and no cracks
Seat In good condition seat rails no cracked or bent
